crtmpserver-apps software package provides base applications for the crtmpserver platform, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install crtmpserver-apps
crtmpserver-apps is installed in your system.
Make ensure the crtmpserver-apps package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep crtmpserver-apps *
You will get with crtmpserver-apps package name, version, architecture and description in a table
